Volunteer Florida announced that the 11th annual Suits for Session service project resulted in the collection of 3,041 items of professional attire. The clothing will be donated to Dress for Success Greater Orlando, FSU ProfessioNole Clothing Closet, and Valencia State College– organizations that support Florida job seekers as they enter or re-enter the workforce.
Donation highlights include:
- Total Women’s Clothing and Accessories Collected: 2,028
- Total Men’s Clothing and Accessories Collected: 1,013
- Total Items Collected: 3,041

“Dress for Success Greater Orlando has been serving Central Florida for 25 years. Over that time, we have helped thousands of disadvantaged women by providing career development tools, professional attire, and a network of support in partnership with more than three dozen nonprofit organizations,” said Joann Febus, Executive Director of Dress for Success Greater Orlando.
