Volunteer Florida, Uber Announce
Fifth Annual Suits for Session Service Project
Volunteer Florida and Uber announced that the fifth annual Suits for Session service project will be held on the Third Floor Rotunda at the Florida Capitol on Tuesday, February 25 from 9 am to 5 pm (ET). Suits for Session engages legislators and staff, state agency employees and other local professionals to collect new or gently-worn business attire to help prepare the job-seekers in need in our state.
Tallahassee residents and visitors who are unable to be at the Capitol on February 25 can still participate in Suits for Session by using the Uber app between 9 am and 4 pm (ET) that day. They simply select “GIVE” at the bottom of the screen, and an Uber driver will pick up and deliver their donations.
- Full suits
- The promotion is available anywhere in Leon County from 9 am to 4 pm (ET)
- All donations must be bagged
- Drivers will arrive at the requested pick-up location, but donors are responsible for bringing bags outside
- Volunteer Florida will not receive any donor information from Uber – to request a tax receipt, please contact email@example.com
