TALLAHASSEE, Fla.Volunteer Florida is pleased to announce the Seventh Annual “Suits for Session” service project will be held on Wednesday, February 23, on the 2nd Floor of the Rotunda of the Florida Capitol.Suits for Session engages Florida legislators and staff, state agency employees and other Capitol Region professionals and residents to collect new or gently-worn business attire to help prepare job-seekers in need in our state. Since the project’s inception in 2016, Volunteer Florida and its partners have been able to donate tens of thousands of pieces of professional attire to many worthy organizations across the Sunshine State.“One of the best things about Volunteer Florida is that we don’t just support service in Florida, we live it,” said Volunteer Florida CEO Corey Simon. “’Suits for Session’ is our way of uniting lawmakers, agency partners, and local change-makers to make a tangible difference in the lives of job-seekers statewide. It’s our honor to serve and lead by that example each year with this service project.”

Individuals who are interested in participating are encouraged to drop-off their donation items at the Volunteer Florida display on the 2nd Floor of the Rotunda in the Florida Capitol.
