Every year, millions of Floridians impact their communities through volunteerism. At a time when staffing shortages are high, Florida’s volunteers continue to step up and make the difference. Whether they are supporting veterans and their families, mentoring students, or stocking their local food pantries, every volunteer makes the Sunshine State a better place to call home.
Each day in the month of April, Volunteer Florida will feature one outstanding volunteer on social media in celebration of Florida Volunteer Month this year. Volunteer Florida’s #VF30in30 volunteer recognition campaign will spotlight volunteers from across the state, their volunteer activities and showcase the impact of their service.
