What kind of volunteering do you do? I love my neighbors and serve as a board member for our neighborhood association bringing news, programming and fun activities to our neighborhood. Tallahassee is a great place to live! My family also volunteers through ECHO’s meals to the homeless, serving meals to those in need. Other prior volunteerism includes, Leon County School District (Parent Surrogate Program), Junior Achievement Instructor, MS Society (Walk for MS), Ability 1st and American Lung Association event committees.

What’s your favorite sports team? Ummmm…my three year old’s Twinkletoes Dance team (i.e. class)?

What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever done? Become a mom! Also, a distant second – I hiked three weeks through Nepal to Base Camp, Mt. Everest at 18,000 ft. and studied anthropology through college classes in 11 countries.

What are you thankful for? My family and friends (here and afar), my community, the gift of meaningful work, health and Starbucks coffee.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received? What you think upon grows. Whatever you allow to occupy your mind you magnify in your life.

Who is your hero? Oprah is pretty awesome!
