TALLAHASSEE, Fla.Volunteer Florida, in continued partnership with the Association of Leaders in Volunteer Engagement (AL!VE) and Points of Light, is proud to announce the launch of the 2025–2026 Service Enterprise Cohort. This initiative offers Florida’s nonprofit organizations the opportunity to participate in the nationally recognized Service Enterprise Accreditation Program—a comprehensive change management strategy that builds capacity by leveraging the power of volunteers.

Participating organizations will gain access to high-quality tools and training designed to increase their return on volunteer investment and strengthen their ability to achieve mission-driven outcomes.

“At Volunteer Florida, we believe that volunteers are a driving force behind strong, resilient communities,” said Volunteer Florida CEO Josie Tamayo. “Through Service Enterprise, we’re proud to help nonprofit organizations across Florida enhance their volunteer engagement strategies and expand their capacity to serve more Floridians with greater impact.”

Achieving Service Enterprise accreditation is a prestigious distinction earned by only the top 11 percent of nonprofits nationwide in volunteer engagement and organizational performance. Developed by Points of Light and supported by research from the TCC Group, Service Enterprise equips organizations to strategically leverage volunteers to expand operations, increase revenue, and deepen their impact.

The 2025–2026 Service Enterprise Cohort includes a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation, 16 hours of expert-led training, one-on-one coaching, and access to a national network of volunteer engagement leaders. Volunteer Florida is proud to bring this opportunity to Florida’s nonprofit sector through its ongoing collaboration with AL!VE and Points of Light.
