Volunteer Florida hosted an event honoring Tallahassee’s first-ever AmeriCorps NCCC team. AmeriCorps NCCC (National Civilian Community Corps) puts young people in direct, team-based service in communities across the nation . The seven-member Tallahassee team is hosted by the Tallahassee Food Network and the Greater Frenchtown Revitalization Council. The AmeriCorps NCCC team is serving at the IGrow Urban Farm on Dunn Street and the IGrow Urban Farm on Orange Avenue. We can’t wait to see the results of their hard work!
