Jayne Cerio was appointed by Governor Rick Scott to the Commission on Community Service on February 21, 2018.

Commissioner Cerio earned her Bachelor of Arts in Education with high honors, and her Master of Education with certification as a reading specialist, from the UF College of Education.

Commissioner Cerio and her husband, Tim, have supported many organizations dedicated to providing educational and mentoring opportunities for students. They have endowed a book award in administrative law at the University of Florida College of Law, and have supported the UF College of Education capital campaign.

Commissioner Cerio and her family reside in Tallahassee.
