Chief Executive Officer
Vivian Myrtetus was appointed CEO of Volunteer Florida by Governor Rick Scott in August 2017 and also serves as the Executive Director of the Volunteer Florida Foundation.
A Miami native, she has nearly two decades of experience serving in various leadership positions in state government and the private sector. Myrtetus has previously served on several community boards and was recently the Founding Board Chairperson of the Florida Technology Council.
Myrtetus served in various leadership roles in Florida state government including Chief of Staff at the Florida Department of Children and Families, Communications Director at the Executive Office of the Governor and Deputy Communications Director at the Florida Office of the Attorney General. She also served as Deputy Chief of Staff for United States Senator George LeMieux. Recently, Myrtetus was Regional Manager at Pondera Solutions.
Myrtetus received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Communications from San Francisco State University.
