Volunteer Florida is proud to work with St. Vincent De Paul and Compass 82 to provide disaster case management to individuals who were impacted by Hurricane Michael in October 2018. For more information about the DCMP program, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Backed by 65 years of combined experience in on the ground emergency management and in-depth disaster recovery, Compass 82’s refined and proven approach to expedited sustainable recovery of ravaged communities minimizes the complexities of the recovery process. The organization’s comprehensive “Educate > Advocate > Navigate” system is designed to guide disaster survivors in the right direction by immediately establishing and implementing a recovery plan during the early days following a disaster and ensuring local, state, federal and nonprofit service providers are accessible and maximized.
St. Vincent de Paul
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul offers tangible assistance to those in need on a person-to-person basis. It is this personalized involvement that makes the work of the Society unique. This aid may take the form of intervention, consultation, or often in-kind service. An essential precept of the Society’s work is to provide help while conscientiously maintaining the confidentiality and dignity of those who are served. The Society recognizes that it must assume, also, a role of advocacy for those who are defenseless or voiceless. More than 5 million persons are helped annually by Vincentians in the United States.
