Volunteer Centers, located in communities throughout Florida, are key local resources for volunteer involvement. They bring people together to strengthen communities through a range of programs and services. The Volunteer Center’s role in a community is centered on the ability to connect people with the opportunity to serve, build the capacity for effective local volunteering, promote volunteering and participate in strategic initiatives that mobilize volunteers. Volunteer Centers cultivate and train volunteers to lead other volunteers, and partner with local organizations and schools to produce tangible benefits in communities. For more information about emerging Volunteer Centers across Florida please contact Volunteer Florida.
