Tallahassee, Fla. – On July 2, Governor Rick Scott announced two appointments and three reappointments to the Florida Commission on Community Service.

 

Susan Glickman, 54, of Indian Rocks Beach, is a consultant with Susan Glickman Associates. She fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning July 2, 2013, and ending September 14, 2015.

 

Michael McLeod, 58, of Sebring, is the dean of academic support of South Florida State College. He fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning July 2, 2013, and ending September 14, 2013.

 

Marcia Gonzalez, 53, of Miami, is a council representative for the Florida Carpenters Regional Council. She is reappointed for a term beginning July 2, 2013, and ending September 14, 2013.

 

Patricia “Penny” Miller, 57, of Ocala, is the vice president of Special Publications, Inc. She is reappointed for a term beginning July 2, 2013, and ending September 14, 2013.

 

Susan Towler, 49, of Jacksonville, is the vice president of Florida Blue Foundation. She is reappointed for a term beginning July 2, 2013, and ending September 14, 2013.

 

The appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
