Volunteer Florida is proud to be the agency responsible for coordinating volunteers and donations during times of disaster as a member of the State Emergency Response Team (SERT).  Along with our partner organizations and countless volunteers, Volunteer Florida helps Floridians pick up the pieces when disaster strikes.

The last three years have brought Florida destructive tornadoes, and a total of eight bruising hurricanes. Weather experts tell us that the cycle of severe hurricane activity has only just begun. 

You can help to reduce the impact of hurricanes and other disasters by being prepared.  The following information will provide you with information about how you can help and prepare for disasters:
