Program Focus: Education
Program Year: Aug – JulyMembers will implement the Grasses in Classes curriculum with Okaloosa and Walton County Schools and target third and fifth grade students. Environmental Stewardship service projects serve as a secondary and complimentary focus to “Grasses in Classes”. By targeting areas of degradation within the Choctawhatchee watershed, service projects will begin the process to return specific acreage to a quality ecosystem. Projects are designed to restore, beautify, and maintain the designated areas targeted for improvement.
