Cuban by birth and American by choice, Marcia Gonzalez arrived in U.S. in the summer of 1984 and resided with her family in Stamford, Connecticut until 1986. She moved with her family to Miami at the end of 1986 and has been a Florida resident ever since.

Marcia joined the staff of the Florida Carpenters Regional Council in 2001. A keen interest in learning resulted in a Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida International University in 2004, majoring in Industrial Organizational Psychology. The core of her studies and experience focuses on everything that contributes to making individuals more successful, efficient and self-sufficient, especially in the workplace. Marcia is passionate about Psychology and its application to improve everyday issues like tolerance, team building, and partnership development. She is a true believer in the power of one, the value of hard work, and the importance of contributing to our communities through active participation.
